Devin Bowman

Devin Bowman was a three-sport standout at Ridgeland, excelling on the football field, the basketball court, and the track.

Devin's was most known on the football field as an offensive weapon on the 3-peat region championship football teams of 2008, 2009, and 2010. He quickly established himself as one of the most exciting athletes in the area when the ball was in his hands. He was electric in the return game on special teams, where he was ranked in the state in punt return average. Defensively, he may have had his biggest impact. As a cornerback, he would single-handedly take the opponent’s best-receiving threat out of the game.

He totaled 1245 total yards as a senior with 12 total TDs, and he finished his career with 1567 yards rushing, 503 yards receiving, 5 Special Teams TDs, and 7 Interceptions. He was named All-State, Region Offensive Co-Player of the Year, and 1st team all-region. He was a 3-star prospect, rated the 12th-best CB in the nation and 20th-best prospect in GA in 2011.

He signed a scholarship with the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in consumer economics. At the University of Georgia, he totaled 31 tackles with 1 INT that was returned for 63 yd TD. Today, he continues to excel as a business leader in Chattanooga.
