Head Coach: Michael Baker
Coach Michael Baker is the head coach of the Ridgeland Lady Panthers girls basketball team. He was a boys assistant coach for the Panthers for five years before being named the girls head coach in 2019.
Coach Baker graduated from Lafayette High School in 2002, where he played basketball and soccer. After graduation, he attended Kennesaw State University, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History Education and Political Science. Additionally, he has a Master's Degree from Valdosta State in Curriculum and Instruction. Coach Baker currently teaches Government and Psychology at RHS.
Coach Baker and his wife Tessa have four children: Reed, Weston, Charlie, and Jackie Rae. He has coached community soccer for 19 years. He currently serves as the head boys soccer coach for Chattanooga Valley Middle School and coaches several youth teams in the Ridgeland Youth Academy.
