2023 Inductee

The Ridgeland High School Athletics Hall of Fame proudly inducts Mike Bowman, a dominant force on the football field and arguably the greatest wide receiver in school history. As a senior in 2008, Mike became the first Panther to surpass 1,000 receiving yards, a feat made even more impressive by the 732 yards he recorded as a junior—then a school record. Both years, he led the team with 11 receiving touchdowns. His exceptional talent earned him numerous accolades, including All-State honors from the AJC, GACA, and AP, as well as Player of the Year awards from multiple organizations. Mike's talent caught the attention of legendary coach Nick Saban, leading him to a scholarship with the University of Alabama, where he was a member of the 2010 National Championship team. We are honored to welcome Mike Bowman to the RHS Athletics Hall of Fame.
