Nick Price
2018 Inductee
Mr. Nick Price was a member of the Ridgeland High School class of 1997.
During his time at Ridgeland High School, he played varsity basketball his freshman and sophomore years, track his senior year, and varsity football his junior and senior years.
Among his athletic accolades as a Ridgeland Panther are the following honors:
All-Region varsity basketball-1994-95
All-Region football, all county football-1995-96
A member of the Panthers’ very 1st state playoff team
Team leader in receiving yards and total touchdowns
All-Region football, and all county football-1996-97
Instrumental in leading the Panthers to back-to-back state playoff appearances
Region 7AAA 100 meter champion with a 10.80 time-1996-97
2nd place in Region 7AAA 200 meter-1996-97
Received 20 scholarship offers from NAIA schools to D1
Following high school, Mr. Price walked on at the University of West Georgia and earned a full scholarship after one semester. While at West Georgia, he would go on to set numerous records, many of which still stand today. His records include:

In addition, he was named All Gulf South Conference 1st Team in 1999, 2000, 2001; He was an All American in 2000 and 2001; he was a member of the 1998, 1999, and 2000 Gulf South Conference Championship teams, and he was a 2000 finalist for the coveted Harlon Hill Trophy, the D2 equivalent to the Heisman
