Tyrone Davis

2018 Inductee

Mr. Tyrone Davis was a member of the Ridgeland High School’s first graduating class, the illustrious class of 1990.

During his high school career, he was a four-year participant in football and basketball, and a three-year participant in track.

As a member of the track team, he was a state qualifier in the 330 intermediate hurdles and the 4x100 relay. He was a two-time letterman in basketball, a three-time letterman in track, and a 4 time letterman in football. As a member of the football team, he received Ridgeland High School Most Valuable Player honors, multiple UCTV Player of the Week honors, North Georgia Defensive Player of the Year honors, and multiple All-North Georgia team selections. He is, perhaps, best known for being Ridgeland’s first ever All-State Football team selection.

Following his highly decorated high school career, Mr. Davis continued to dedicate himself to the sports of football, basketball, and baseball as a volunteer, from 2002-2015, for the Chattanooga Valley and Rossville Recreation departments, as well as two years of service as the Defensive Coordinator for Silverdale Baptist Academy.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to induct Mr. Tyrome Davis into the inaugural class of the Ridgeland High School Hall of Fame.
